Raising awareness of issues affecting our local community, and allowing people to share information

The Friends of Thorpe St Andrew are a voluntary community group with the following aims:

• Empowering the local community to work together to voice opinions to relevant bodies

• To facilitate communication within the local community regarding local issues

• To act as a single contact point for all individuals, relevant organisations, bodies etc, and to act as a conduit for communication and distribution of information

• To develop strategies to deal with issues arising that have impact on the local area and community

• Those within the community group act in a voluntary capacity and to the best of their individuals’ abilities in order to facilitate the meeting of aims and strategies.
